The Ashton X-1D Fairway Wood - Deeper Faced
for Added Confidence!
The first Fairway Wood that out distances all the competition,
including many Drivers on the market today. How? They're the only
component fairway wood designed with variable face density
technology for maximum C.O.R. Perfectly engineered weight
distribution for optimum launch angles and unprecedented high C.O.R
result in distance and accuracy never before achieved by a fairway
wood.
Face materials for fairway woods are generally 17-4 or 15-5
stainless steel. To achieve maximum C.O.R., we adopted the
technology behind our X-1 Driver and engineered proprietary steel
that would allow us to forge the face of our fairway woods as thin
as possible without sacrificing structural integrity. The faceplate
is actually forged thinner around the perimeter and thicker in the
center to promote higher C.O.R. and thus greater initial ball
velocity.
The X-1D FW wood features a slightly deeper face compared to our
original X-1 FW wood for those looking for added confidence.
Finished in a stunning deep gloss black with double satin finish
face.
